Facebook!

I bit the bullet.

Number one:  I went back to school today after a three week vacation.

Number two.  I started a Facebook page for this blog.

It's going to be an amazing day - I can feel it.  Not to mention, The Bachelor premieres tonight and with that, Talk About It Tuesdays will be back, too.  

I know.  I can hardly contain my excitement either.  It doesn't matter at all that The Bachelor is what got me out of bed this morning, either.  Whatever works, people, right? 

Okay, back to number two.  I did it.  I started a Facebook page for my blog.  In much the same way that I felt pressured to begin my endeavor on Teachers Pay Teachers, here goes another adventure.

I would love to say that I have the greatest things in mind for my Facebook page and that I am going to blow your socks right off.  

But I don't.  I just have a couple of ideas.  Like talking about reality TV and possibly wine . . . so it's best if you keep your socks on and I'll just wing it as I usually do.  And throw in some teaching stuff for good measure.  

In order to have a Facebook page, I apparently need people to read it, follow it, talk about it, tattoo it, stamp it, share it, etc.

Do you see all of those smiley faces?  That's to make you feel better about all of the clicking.  And it's also to make me feel less guilty about making you do all of that clicking.  

I think a smiley face at the end of a text and also the words, "Just Saying" make up for anything.  For example, when you want to give your opinion, but you're afraid people are not going to like your opinion, you can just go for it and then add, "Just Saying!"  Or, if you're texting or writing a post, then you just add a :).  I think it works like a charm.  

Am I the only one who is afraid to give her opinion?

Alright.  Bring on the day.  Bring on the kiddos.  Bring on the bladder control.
