Happy Sunday everyone! My freebie is an activity I have every year at our Valentine's party. Although the word "party" is misleading and I try never to say it in front of the kids because then they kind of expect me to have a bounce house with milkshakes and nachos, and all we really have are a few centers with a cookie and a juice box. That's often how I feel about New Year's Eve parties.
Anywho, I have parents donate boxes of conversation hearts for a math center at our "party". I inevitably end up having to buy more because I can't keep myself from eating them in the weeks before the shindig. I love them. They are candy. They have different colors. They are candy. They have words. They are candy.
You won't actually need the conversation hearts for this freebie -- so if you're on a budget or don't have parents willing to donate or whatever the case may be -- I included spinners in this freebie so students can complete the activities that way.
Click on any of the pics to download your copies. I hope you can use them!

And I totally am with you on the "party" thing. Is there a better word you use? Or a code word? Haha-- Kids, we are having our "Valentine's Event". Perhaps they will have no clue what it means and not expect nachos and balloons? Thanks for the freebie!
