“Hi!” says the teacher who got all of her recesses today so she was a super duper amazing incredible person that glowed on the outside as butterflies and rainbows shined all around her.
Gigantic Smiley Face.
If you weren’t sure by all the green and red and music and toys and Santas and lines and crazy people sleeping in the lines and lights and grumpy people and excited kids asking how many more days every five minutes, it’s December.
You know what that means.
Farley’s having a party!
Here’s my contribution.
I have absolutely no problem watching certain shows over and over again. The Real Housewives of Anywhere, Sister Wives, Teen Mom, Celebrity Rehab, Couples Therapy, Basketball Wives, and Breaking Amish fall in this category.
Stop looking at me like that.
We are having high 60s, low 70s temperatures. I love it. I wore a scarf today and when the sun was beating down on me during my recess duty, I told myself I was not hot. I was not hot. I was not hot. And when my kids asked me why I was so sweaty, I said, “I’m not sweaty, you are.”
I am having these tortilla chips because I just ate a 100 calorie bag of chocolate chip cookies and they didn’t do it for me. I’m too tired to get up and get the salsa, though. I mean, it would require walking over there . . . and then getting a bowl and then I would have to unscrew the lid . . . and pour . . . I just can’t.
I am determined to really remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. I think that’s pretty self explanatory. But I just want to make sure that I REMEMBER it.
Progress reports — I need to do them.
That’s all I’m saying because I don’t know if I’m going to do them tonight. If I can’t get the salsa that I really want, then I obviously don’t see myself getting paperwork done, either.
My Random Act of Kindness is getting a little treat for our school librarian. I’m afraid of her. She makes me nervous. I think we’re on good terms, but seeing as how I avoid the library at all costs, I’m not really sure.
So.
This will be extremely random seeing as how I’ve never done this before.
Well, truth be told, after I’ve used the stage in the library, I’ve given her a gift card as a thank you. A re-gifted gift card, but still . . . a gift card. And maybe it’s wasn’t a thank you gift card and more of a “please let me use the stage next year, I promise I’ll be good” gift card, but still.
This will be extremely random.
So now I just have to find a treat.
And then I’m going to find a naughty student brave volunteer to deliver it.
The End.
Don’t forget to link up with Farley!

Congratulations on getting to go outside for all your recesses today! That's very exciting! And here I thought California always had beautiful sunny weather.
Reality tv shows are the best. You have to watch them over and over again. The drama isn't good enough only one time around.
Oh the salsa dilemma, I know it far too well. That 20 step journey is far too long when you are all snug on the couch.
Hopefully you get the drive to work on your progress reports tonight. Just think, the sooner you get them done the sooner you can relax for Winter break!
Good luck with the librarian dilemma. She sounds like the Librarian from the Black Lagoon. =)

What is up with the librarians? I should probably give a gift to mine…not sure if I can do it. I feel sad that you don't have snow to go with your scarf. You probably don't feel the same though, right?

We haven't had a librarian for months! No library visits for us. Tho thad. But I'm not sure I would trade no librarian for one that I'm a little nervous about.
I agree about all recesses today – so wonderful!

Love me some Teen Mom 2! You have to watch it more than once… that way you can be sure you didn't miss anything important… like exactly how many days Jenelle will spend in jail because she had to see her idol Ke$ha in concert. It's all about the details! ๐

I save myself from so many calories because I am too lazy to scoop that bowl of ice cream every night! haha! Sometimes when I have to drag myself off the couch to go to the bathroom, I pass by the freezer and then I am no longer saved:)

I save calories on ice cream because my freezer freezes it really hard and it is too much work to get it out of the carton. So I only have some if the hubster volunteers and I think he is waiting for me. Hey! The lazy person diet has just been born.

Would you share how you score report cards. What assessments do you use? Do you have any tricks up your sleeve to finish them faster? I have 33 students and it's just taking too long.
Thanks,
Liz
