Well, hello there, we made it through Monday.
Except I have bible study.
I just changed into yoga pants (you people know I diligently do my yoga so the pants are necessary, and it has absolutely nothing to do at all with the fact that they are basically comfy pajama bottoms that you can wear in public, and I have no clue how to do any yoga poses whatsoever except I am learning on GoNoodle) and I also put on a big ole sweatshirt because . . . people, brace yourself . . . the wind kicked up and the temps are going to drop down into the 60s tomorrow.
I know.
So. Now that I’m all comfy and ready to go to bible study, I thought I’d hop on here right quick and tell you what’s what and who’s who.
What’s What: I got a planning day today with my team. How cool is that? My principal got us subs and we started planning for NEXT YEAR.
Now, I don’t know about you, but when I start thinking of next year, I start thinking of how I can change things and make things better and how wonderful and great it will be and I get really excited and pumped and my voice gets higher and I clap a lot and I high five my teammies and I say YES a lot and WAIT and I SAW THIS ON TPT and MY BLOGGING BUDDY HAS THIS REALLY COOL PACK . . . and so on.
Do you have one of me on your team? And do you like her?
I sure hope so.
I honestly can’t help it. I have always been like this. I came this way.
That’s actually not true. My mom will tell you that I was shy. And that my teachers would write on my report cards that they hoped I would come out of my shell.
Um . . . well, let’s just say I don’t even know where my shell is. The last time I saw it, I left it in the dust.
My other two and a half teammies (we have to have a combo next year) are also very excitable people and we might have disrupted the other classes going on around us as we sat in a middle room that is more like a closet and not a classroom. I don’t know. I couldn’t hear over all the whoops and hollers and YES’s.
Now I feel sad and excited. Sad for my year to be over and sad to say goodbye to this class and this year . . . and excited for new possibilities.
I am like this every year.
Who needs caffeine? Not me.
Who’s Who: We already had Teacher Appreciation Week at my school, but I heard that it’s the ACTUAL Teacher Appreciation Week this week. As in, Chipotle is giving away free tacos or burritos or something. I sure hope they throw in a margarita, too.
TpT is also celebrating Teacher Appreciation week now, too.
Did you hear?

I am soooo like that….. I've been in full on planning mode for a week…. But here's the crazy part: I might be teaching kindergarten or a 4/5 combo (this year I'm teaching math and science to middle school students). I have been driving myself bonkers…. I have "plans" stewing in the pot for both… My head hurts! I'm so jealous that you know what your teaching and that you had a planning day. Love stalking your blog….

I found those pink and blues in my mailbox today. TIme to start planning for next year! I must thank you for GoNoodle! My firsties live for this each day. (If they earn it-of course!) Every teacher in our primary wing is using GoNoodle since our second recess has been taken away!!!

I think I might be you on my team. At our meeting yesterday one of my teammates listened to me describe a product from TpT. She just looked at me, blinked, and said to email her the link. She didn't even look at the product. Just bought it because I liked it. So…yeah…I think I might be you in third grade.
