Are you alive? Are you surviving? Are you remote teaching or hybrid or back Face to Face?
I’m currently still teaching remotely. I honestly can’t even believe it. We are about to start WEEK SEVEN.
I’ve completed SIX WHOLE WEEKS OF THIS.
We don’t have a return date so I think we will be doing this for quite awhile.
The best thing I can say about it is that we are making connections and building a classroom community despite the distance.
Other than that, it’s a big ole let down. It just IS. I want to hug the kids. I want to see their expressions up close and IN PERSON. I want to read with them at a small group table and watch them hold the books, and I most definitely WANT TO HAVE CARPET TIME.
I miss carpet time.
BIG SIGH.
It’s fine. I’m fine. Everything is fine.
I haven’t been blogging because I’m overwhelmed most of the time, and I’m also sick of the computer.
SICK SICK SICK OF THE COMPUTER.
Which makes me really sad because I love blogging but, right now, it feels more like a chore than a hobby.
Waaaaah.
But I wanted to check in, see if this blog was still here ๐ณ๐, and tell you to check in with me over on Instagram. I’ve taken to blogging OUT LOUD with LOTS OF WORDS over there on Stories. It’s almost like therapy, but I don’t have to be on the computer.
I just chat mostly about my day, nail polish, hair, kids, emails, parents, Big Brother, this and that, and whatever else is on my mind.
So, if you’re missing my posts, head on over there, and come say hi!
I look forward to posting on here soon . . . when I have something REAL to say. And when I am not so sick of the computer.
Until then . . .
