I went to Orlando and I came home to the Erin Condren Back to School Collection.
Well, I came home to Murphie and Steve, too. Obviously. And I hugged them. But then I was all is that a package from Erin Condren? Steve got mad at me because he said I ran him over in order to get to the package, but let’s all just face the facts here. There is no way I could run Steve over. He is big and I am small. So I really don’t know what he’s talking about. In fact, I think I’m offended.
Look what was in the box!
If you weren’t addicted to school supplies and pretty stuff before, you are now.
And in no way, shape, form, how, this, that, the other am I ready for school to start again, but I have to say this makes it all feel a little better.
I officially go back on August 5. And the kids come on August 10. Which is less than a month away from now and we haven’t been able to get in our rooms because we are getting new carpet so I am mildly freaking out while I pretend it isn’t happening and then when I majorly freak out, I roll around in my Erin Condren Back to School Collection of Supplies and then I feel better. Smelling them helps, too. And I’m not weird. It’s just that Erin Condren stuff happens to be magical.
So let’s see what we have here.
Did you see the lunch tote? With flamingos on it? With my name on it? Have you ever? I’m already trying to figure out how to carry it in such a way that everyone at school notices it and asks about it and secretly wants it, but they can’t steal it because my name is on it and I’m the only Kristin at my school so oh well. Shoulder shrug. I’ll be the coolest kid around!!!
There are also beautiful file folders! Don’t get me wrong. I have regular ole plain manila file folders in my filing cabinet. But I love a pretty file folder for something that might stay on my desk all year long or maybe one to take with me to an IEP. You know. It shows that I’m all competent and serious and I know what I’m doing even though I am nervous about the IEP because hello? It’s an IEP. And I never want to say or do anything wrong and the whole team is there and it’s like please don’t ask me a question, I don’t know, I just love your kid, but on the outside I look like Mrs. Joe Cool because I have a pretty file folder.
Or is that just me?
The new collection also has Sticker Books!! Which are books full of stickers! Stickers that are perfect for the classroom! I LOVE ALL THE STICKERS!
Don’t get me started on the notebooks. Holy cow. Reread the whole IEP scenario and now you know why I bring a pretty notebook with me to the leadership team meetings. But these Erin Condren notebooks? I might as well lead the whole meeting the way they’re gonna make me look.
Like I’m important. And cute. And well prepared. I mean. Really.
The writing utensils had me seriously drooling.
Obviously, I can’t share the pencils and erasers and highlighters with the kids. There are not enough to go around. They are just for me.
Because I’m the teacher.
And I will use them appropriately.
And I will only have MY germs on them and no one else’s which is the best reason for not sharing certain items with your students. It doesn’t make you a meanie. Don’t feel like a meanie. You’re keeping yourself healthy. And that’s doing everyone a favor.
Okay. So there’s lots more stuff in the collection, but I think you should just go take a look and browse.
And, as a disclaimer . . . Erin Condren was nice enough to send this to me. But these opinions are my own. OBVIOUSLY.
If you’re new to Erin Condren (I am!), you can click on any of the links and get $10 off your first order. It doesn’t even have to be a planner! You could just get a lunch tote or some pretty file folders! How cool is that!?
