Well hello there! You must have made it through the DAY AFTER HALLOWEEN.
Cheers to that.
My kids were basically emotional and grumpy and sleepy and tired and super excited to tell me how their night was. And, even though I told them all my favorite kinds of candy, not one student brought me a treat.
GASP. I was in shock. My feelings were hurt. I mean, HELLO?
Luckily, we had left over candy. And I made sure it was the good kind! Peanut Butter Cups and Heath bars!
Anywho, I don’t know if you remember this, but a long time ago, I was part of an Educents bundle that was super amazing. You pay one low price for a bunch of different packs and bam! It’s like Christmas or your birthday or your anniversary or even just a big ole “I work hard so I deserve this and Halloween was on a Thursday” present!
Well, I get to do it AGAIN! ๐
I’m super excited to have my Rhyming Picture Cards with Printables (differentiated) included in this bundle! While it’s not exactly a winter themed product, it is exactly what I need at this time of the year because our kids are assessed on rhyming on our District Assessments.
And, rather than have cat and coke rhyme or even pail and poop rhyme (yes! pail and poop and poop and puppy), I use these picture cards whole class and during centers to reinforce rhyming. Looky there. Reinforce. Rhymes with . . . well, anyway.
We are all set to do this in a center starting Monday. I am going to have the kids match rhyming pairs and then record the pairs on the recording sheet above. Students have been so successful with this in the past! Let’s just hope it transfers to the District Assessment. And let’s hope our District Assessment is not scheduled anywhere NEAR a holiday!
Fingers crossed. And toes. And fingers.
Any probably my eyes, too.
There are 21 other products in our bundle to get your kids learning! Literacy, math, science, social studies, and a whole bunch more! Hop along to see all the goodies you will get!
