Well, Happy Father’s Day in case you’re a father. Or maybe you’re married to one. Or maybe you have one.
I have one. He’s fantastic. The whole family came over here today, and we ate, and we sat around on the patio and talked. Much like yesterday. Except that we added See’s Candy to the mix. Yep. Be jealous.
We are exciting people around these here parts. I hope I didn’t just make your blood pressure rise without warning.
Even though I’m not a father, I gave myself a gift.

And I got it. My ten and a half year old Pathfinder sorta kinda bit the dust. Or, quite possibly, my hubby made up a story that it was about to hit the dust so that I would go for some test drives.
I test drove three cars.
And fell in love with one.

Oh, I'm jealous! I want a mini but my husband says he won't fit and then there's the kids…who are both bigger than me. I keep telling them it's not about the passengers but all about the driver!
Yay on a new car! I have thought about getting a new car, but I love my car. There is also the fact that my husband is on a what I call a 2 year plan (he gets a new car every 2 years usually on my birthday). We have a deal now that if I wait till his car is paid off (he says he is keeping this one) I can get whatever new car I want and get to keep my current one. I know that he is going to fall out of love with his car, and then I told him that I would just take over his car (I have a Jeep Wrangler and he has a Honda CRV).
The car is perfect!!!! So sad that you don't get to drive it this week.
Cute car! I need a new car….but the car I have was free and now it is ubber old and refuses to die. I can't seem to justify car payments when the, held together with duck tape and wire, car I have still runs. Your new car seems to be a Mary Poppins car…practically perfect in every way.

I love mini's! But I would have the same trouble as you, too big of a family! Drive extra for us all!
It is so cute! My husband had a mini convertible which we traded for a pepper white mini clubman (by orders of the dermatologist. The clubman seats 4 comfortably and the rear seats fold down to lots of cargo. It even has space for a spare tire in the back well so you can say goodbye to the high priced run-flat tires when you need to replace tires! I love driving ours! I predict you will have a love affair with mini for life!

Kristin, Did you see the Katie show today? It was all about the Bachelor and Bachelorette. . . maybe since you're 3 hours behind us, you can still catch it. Your FAV bachelorette Courtney (shoulder shrug!) was on. . . and she was given an award for the raciest scene when she and Ben went skinny dipping! Oh and in case you missed it, she and Ben broke up in October. . . shoulder shrug!

Super cute! I really like the mini's. I really want a Volkswagon Beetle, they are adorable too! I can't get a new car right now. I am still making payments on the old one! It's nice too, it's a Kia Soul and I can haul around a ton of stuff in the back, so it's a good fit for a shopper like me!
