A New Look

In the interest of “keeping up with the Joneses” (and, just so you’re aware, I looked up the spelling of Joneses because it doesn’t look right, but it’s supposedly correct so if you are a member of the Grammar Police and this is actually incorrect, please arrest several different sources on the internet — I am completely innocent and will testify against the perpetrators) . . . anyway, in “keeping up with the Joneses”, otherwise known as Every Blogger Known To Mankind, I got a blog makeover.

How do I look?

Does it make my butt look big?

Do you like it?

I love it.

LOVE IT.

I loved my pink and purple and colorful other design, too, and especially my owls, but this-here blog will be three years old on July 5th and it’s never had a makeover.

Don’t say I said so, because I’m not one to gossip, but some people have had more than one design in the same year.

Yep.

So I felt pressure.

Peer Pressure.

Blog Bloat.

And so I caved.

And I hired Kassie from Designs by Kassie and, luckily, she decided not to fire me because it turns out I have a lot of opinions regarding my blog that I never used to have back when I was a virtual nobody and I just threw myself out there and then you people were nice to me.

Also, as the famous story goes, Hadar found me on day 3 and the rest is history.  I used to think it was day 1, but I just did a little digging and it was actually day 3. 

But let’s all pretend it was day 1, okay?  It sounds better.

So.  Back to Kassie.  She was super patient with me and we just emailed back and forth and somehow through all of the emailing and my exclamation points, she was able to see inside of my brain and get past all of the cobwebs and teaching stuff and creativity and ideas and memories and what-not and GET THIS OUT OF MY HEAD AND ONTO MY BLOG.

She must be a genius.  I’m pretty sure.

Because I really didn’t know what I wanted, but I did.  Sort of.

So, thank you, Kassie, you rock!

I hope you all like it as much as I do!!!

    Oh, I was just thinking the other day that I was so glad Teeny hasn't caved and gone the way of so many other big names! I have just always adored your bloggy owl-look. BUT then I have to eat my words because your new look is beyond adorable and incredibly you:) Absolutely love it!!!

    It looks great! And I can totally relate to the whole how do you spell Joneses, Jones's, Jones' thing. I got married a year and a half ago and my new last name is Jones. I'm still figuring it out. I don't want to be wrong – especially since I'm a teacher and all.
