I just got my first Erin Condren Teacher Planner! I am IN LOVE!!!! I have several friends who have one, but I have only drooled and coveted it from afar.
But not anymore! NOT ANYMORE, I said! Because, in a random-are-you-kidding-me-is-this-for-real type of way, Erin Condren sent me all this stuff to review!!! However, the opinions in this post are my own. 🙂
Look at all of this loveliness!
Here it is!
Here’s the front page of the planner. I love that it says this is my life! Why, yes. Yes, it is!
I love how all of these important dates are right in the beginning and easily seen in one glance!
Here’s a picture of the actual lesson planning part.
I write my lesson plans on the computer — I’ve been doing that for years and honestly don’t see myself handwriting out my lesson plans. Because no. Just no.
BUT – I LOVE LOVE LOVE that I can use this section for my reading groups and I DO handwrite all my reading group stuff!
So for this section, I can keep track of the books each group is reading, reading strategies we’re working on, phonics skills, sight words, etc. I think it will be perfect!
LOOK AT THIS!
This teacher planner is SO DANG SPECIAL it comes with its own CARRYING CASE! WHAT THE WHAT?! But it’s true! How cute is that?!
When I first told Steve that Erin Condren contacted me and asked if I would be interested in reviewing the new Teacher Planner, he said “that’s nice” in a I don’t know what you’re talking about, why are you jumping up and down on the couch like Tom Cruise on the Oprah show, and just who in the world are you?? type of way.
But once I showed him that the new Teacher Planner comes with its own CARRYING CASE, he understood loud and clear just what a big deal Erin Condren is. And now he won’t forget it. 😉
Also, I am calling it a CARRYING CASE (in all capital letters) for lack of a better term. Bag? No. Sleeve? No. Pouch? No.
CARRYING CASE it is.
Okay, I’m a sucker for a good rollerball pen.
Flair pens? Well . . . I know everyone loves them, but they’re kind of lost on me.
Unless these pens are considered flair pens. Are they? I’m not exactly a pen expert. I just know when I like a pen. And then I have to say it. For example, if I’m at a restaurant and I sign the bill, and I like the pen, I say I like this pen. I like the way it writes! And Steve has to remind me that I can’t take it, that it would be stealing, that I have to leave it there. Which makes me sad. So then I usually take a picture of the pen in hopes that I can find one like it at Target the next time I’m there.
This is all true, people.
Anywho, I love love love rollerball pens. Always have, always will. I have a few Uniball pens that I have had FOR YEARS and use when I want to write messages in cards. When I misplace one, I start to have a mild panic attack.
So when Erin sent these rollerball pens to me, I had to try them out immediately. I may have even tried them out before even opening the planner. That’s how much I love rollerball pens.
And, once again, look how special these rollerball pens are . . . they comes with their own CARRYING CASE, too! 🙂
Last, Erin Condren sent me a T-shirt.
My teammates are going to be jelly so I’m going to have to order one for each of them. I wish you could reach into my computer and touch the T-shirt.
It is SO SO SO soft. I mean . . . I kind of wanted to sleep in it the first night I got it.
But I refrained.
I’m going to wear it to school. And then if I happen to fall asleep later that night while I’m still wearing it, well then . . . that can’t be helped.
I mentioned in my Five for Fraturday post that my team had a planning day for next year. And how thinking about a new year while currently living in the Madness That Is May is complete insanity and no one should have to go through this because I don’t think it’s good for your health . . . well, this Erin Condren Teacher Planner sure does help with all that.
Thank you, Erin Condren!
