This is coming to you late because I was gone all day. In fact, I got up early.
On a Saturday.
I know.
No, I don’t know what’s wrong with me and no, I don’t know who I am.
But it will all make sense at the end of this post.
WAIT! Don’t skip ahead. That’s something my mom does when she is reading books. I can’t believe she does that, but she does. And Kerry will fast forward through Reality TV shows such as Big Brother and Survivor and Extreme Weight Loss to see who wins or how much someone loses and only then will she watch the show in its entirety.
I do not understand it.
So wait. Please.
This happened.
Isn’t she pretty?
I just wuv her.
But not as much when she’s whining.
Oh my word. The whining.
I think she’s saying, “I’m Tired But I Can’t Go To Sleep Because I Suffer From F.O.M.O.”
F.O.M.O means Fear of Missing Out.
I suffer from the same affliction.
It’s way more common than you think.
One of our favorite centers this week was Bingo!
It was perfect for reviewing our consonant letters.
And, of course, kids love spinners.
I am pretty sure Hadar used some cute October manipulative that
was orange or black or a leaf or candy corn or a scarecrow or something theme related and absolutely adorable. . .
As you can see, I used red and blue squares.
I’m lazy.
Play-doh Sight Word Mats!
This is new to me.
And my students.
I have had play-doh for Fun Friday, but never as an
actual Literacy Center.
Can you say SUPER POPULAR and I am THEIR MOST FAVORITE TEACHER IN ALL THE WORLD?
These mats are from Mrs. Wheeler’s Play-doh pack.
I am so happy that the new season has started!
I cried on both new episodes.
I don’t cry easily.
But oh my word. THIS SHOW!
THIS SHOW!
You’d think I was a big baby or something.
Or hormonal.
Or menopausal.
That’s a multiple choice question.
You’ll have to give your answer in the comments.
THIS is the reason why I’m posting so late.
I went to the Fall So Cal Kinder Conference today!
It was just a one day workshop.
Heidi from Heidi Songs was presenting.
We’ve met before.
I know her.
I’m bragging.
Heidi was amazing. So engaging! I loved everything she told us and I was wishing my kids were right in front of me so I could start teaching.
Well, not really. Because it’s Saturday. But I’m going to be just gosh-darn incredible on Monday.
Hadar was a fun buddy to have next to me, too! Of course.
And now I’m hungry and sleepy and I need a cuddle with my Murphie girl.
