I like to blog.
And that’s about all when it comes to Social Media.
I’m just being honest. Just sayin’. As I like to say.
I have FB. I have Instagram. I have Pinterest. I even have a Twitter account that I have never Tweeted on because a tweet is way too short and I need to write a paragraph, don’t you know. And, truthfully, I have no idea even how to get on Twitter and tweet a tweet.
Which is actually hilarious because when I was in college and worked nights at a blueprint company, my nickname was Tweety Bird. Later, it was shortened (or lengthened, depending on how you look at it) to Birdie, but either way, I should know how to tweet.
But I don’t.
Aw, shucks, aren’t you so sweet to want to teach me. It’s just . . . well, I don’t want to learn.
Just sayin’.
With all of that being said, I have joined an Instagram challenge.
I know, I know. I am such an overachiever and always shoot for the stars. It’s like I’m a valedictorian. Practically, anyhow.
Another reason I joined the challenge is because my bloggy buddies, Hadar and Jessica, are hosting it. So now I’m like the nerdy valedictorian who wishes she was in the cool group.
Here’s the challenge:
I’ve already tweeted taken three pictures – one for each day! I’m so proud of myself!
See?
Tuesday: A is for Alphabet
This works, right?
It’s from my First Grade Morning Work
Wednesday: B is for Bulletin Board
We made shape scarecrows.
I’ll blog about this later and I’ve got the whole
thing for you as a freebie, too.
My bulletin board turned out really cute, but I
didn’t finish it until today so I couldn’t take a pic of it.
Thursday: C is for Calendar
I’m really proud of my $10 calendar from Target.
Hadar told me about this so I had to go copy her.
More evidence that I’d like to be in the cool crowd.
Go check out Hadar’s blog for a really good explanation on how you can join in the challenge. You can click the pink camera up at the top right of my blog to follow me on Instagram and see my pics the day they happen.
I said, THE DAY THEY HAPPEN. Folks, it doesn’t get more exciting than this.
Tomorrow: D is for Desk.
Are you riveted? Are you in suspense?
Let me just tell you that everything on my desk is aligned just so and most things are at a right angle . . . and I have a container for fat markers and a container for skinny markers . . . and my post its have a special spot and so do my staplers . . . I think it’s camera ready.
Right?

I'm not sure I'd be able to take a pic of D is for desk or really pictures of anything neat in my room. You are brave. ๐ Today we had our team meeting in my room. One of the teachers pointed to the back table with a pile of reading materials on top and a pile of Math under it and asked "Is that where you do reading groups?" Ummmm….yes that's where I pull reading and writing groups and where the Special Ed teacher does push-in Math and where the assistant that pops in at randomly scheduled times pulls kids one on one. And we all just move the other person's pile until I finally have enough planning time to put it all away. Love the shape scarecrow by the way!

What a great challenge – I have way too many social media going at the moment and I probably need a break! I'll be checking back to see how you do! Especially on the 26th!
