Five for Fraturday {AND} A Contest

It’s barely Friday . . . but I think I’ll get this posted before it becomes Fraturday so we’re just gonna all go along with it, okay?

Before I begin, I wanted to let you know that I spent some time over on the Freebielicious blog this week.  I had good intentions of telling you to visit me over there, but I got my hair done (which means now I’m blonde again rather than that girl with the dark roots – what is wrong with her – does she think she’s getting away with something as if her roots look like a dark brown beanie or something?) and then Survivor was on and then I pretty much forgot.

Anywho, I “introduced” myself to the Freebielicious readers and although you probably already know everything there is to know about me, you can click {HERE} just in case you feel deprived.  Or depraved.

Time for a peek at my week:

I blogged about this Native American project {HERE} where we used beans, corn, and pumpkin seeds to design a picture.
Last year, the projects were hit or miss.  Some of the pictures looked like an actual representation of something else, i.e., a flower or a sun, whereas others looked like . . . well, they looked like the kids glued beans, corn, and pumpkin seeds to paper.
This year, I passed out a teepee template and had the kids outline it with the beans, corn, and pumpkin seeds.
Can I just say BEST IDEA I’VE HAD IN A LONG TIME?  All my kids were successful, all my kids worked QUIETLY, and all my kids LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!  We walked around our classroom while the pictures dried, and oohed and aahed over each one.
Fantastic, I tell you.  Granted, there was a lack of freedom and creativity because of the template, but the “artists” in my bunch added special details in the background, such as flowers, suns, grass, rain, etc.  I call that a win-win.

Our sharing topic this week was to bring a  baby photo so I brought this in for my kids to see.  It’s my twin, Kerry, and me, obviously.  Well, it made me miss Kerry so I took a quick pic with my phone and sent it to her with some sort of a cute Emoji, I’m sure.  
Welllllllll . . . she put it on her Facebook page for Throwback Thursday and had her friends guess which baby was her and which was me.
Then I wanted to play so she tagged me in it and, people, it was like the Great Twin Contest of 1912 or something.  Name That Baby or Be Square!  We had so much fun and it was Thursday night!  I’m telling you, we live on the edge.
Also, I’d like to point out that I’m not as old as I tend to portray myself to be . . . I mean, look!  That picture is IN COLOR, not black and white.  So I’m just mildly old.  Barely old.  Older than young, but not old old.  
I had so much fun with the Which Twin Is It Game that I decided I should play it again.
Or rather, YOU should play it!

SO FUN, RIGHT?  I tell you, you just never know what’s gonna happen over here on this blog.  It all just depends on what happens during the day.

    I am guessing the one on the left because this is probably a trick question. I would say the right because she is teeny but that would be obvious–right? Can I guess both? And win? Wrong?

    I am going to guess you are the twin on the right. You have a skinnish face and that baby has a skinnish face. The baby on the left has plumper cheeks. They are both equally precious though!

    Everyone is guessing right…and that was my guess too! Stop copying me every other commenter who got here before me…stop! As for Thor my hubby went without me because well, I don't do those types of movies and he said is was amazing and so does everyone else… and now you too…so do I need to go? I may want to change my guess to left… no I'm sticking with my gut…right.
