Five for Friday (FOR REAL!)

For REAL!  I made it!  I did it!  It’s Friday and I’m linking up with Doodlebugs Teaching.  On time.  Everyone be on the lookout for pigs flying.  Don’t get hit by one.
It’s also SPRING BREAK!
Let’s get started so I can go have a glass of wine.
1.
I used to be addicted/in a rut/obsessed/compulsive about having an English Muffin with peanut butter everysinglemorning for breakfast.
But now I’m on this yogurt/granola kick.  It is YUMMY.  I love it.  I am now All About It.
Feel free to tell me about the artificial sweeteners, and how I might die, and how could I eat this fake stuff when greek yogurt is so much better, or I should only eat whole foods or whatever . . . I don’t mind one bit as long as you don’t mind me eating Cadbury mini eggs while we chat about it.
2.

We have been studying plants for the past couple of weeks.  This was Flower Day.  Which meant we went on a little walk around our school and 29 of us stepped into the planters (which we always say NEVER to do —stay on the sidewalk, we always say because we don’t have hallways and it’s just as wide open as a park and kids could run willy nilly if we let them.  But we stepped INTO the planters to pick ONE little teeny flower for our activity.
And it was at that precise moment that our principal walked past.
I’m not kidding, folks.  And it made me realize that my partner is sort of right to be nervous about this every year, and we shouldn’t have the kids pick flowers from our lovely planters, and maybe we SHOULD go buy a bouqet or something . . . 
But our principal just gave us a thumbs-up.
Even as a big ole bee buzzed right past her because my kids stirred up a little hive or nest or hideout or something.
3.
We had a little baby shower after school on Wednesday for one of our staff members.  I volunteered to make the “flyer” as they called it.
The flyer.  Scoff.
I used a Mr. Magician frame and Jessica Stanford’s fonts to make an INVITATION which I printed on cardstock and cut on a paper trimmer to precision.  I had to hold myself back from laminating each one.  
Okay, other people had to hold me back.
And they were strong.
4.

Murphie has had all her shots!!!  Plus an extra set because I don’t know why.  So she’s good to go!

This is the hubby and Murphie (and me) at the BIG PARK on GRASS for the first time.  I don’t know if you can tell, but Murphie   is bowing her head in thanks to God.

FUN FUN FUN.

Except for two minor situations that could only happen to me or my puppy.

1.  She has a slight infection on her private part which the vet thinks can be a lifetime problem unless we let her go into heat one time before she is spayed.  WHAT?!!?  Seriously?  Oh my word.

2.  She could possibly have a hernia.  WHAT?!!?  Seriously?  Oh my word.

Meanwhile, Murphie has no clue about either situation so she’s just chasing balls and sleeping and being as cute as ever.  Typical Murphie.

5.

ROAD TRIP!!!!!  I’m off to Sonoma with my mom, sister, and niece.  I’m so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

    I love reading your blog 🙂 Your invite was super cute. I enjoy and agree with your need for proper presentation. I got in trouble a few weekends ago as my husband asked me to make 50 "No alcohol beyond this point" signs for a wings and beerfest thingy. I come out with 50 awesome signs with clip art, border and cute fonts and he about died. WHAT!! He no like my stuff?? "Can't you just type 5 words and press print?!?!?!" Um, no and my signs were perfect – HA

    Your invitation is ADORABLE! We can't believe they called it a flyer. You are so funny. You make us giggle!!! Have a great spring break!! We are looking forward to ours, but too bad we have another week.
