It is so hot here. It is like I am in the desert.
By the way, I sort of am. But as I understand it, most of Southern California is having a heat wave and not just those of us far away from the beach.
That means we must stay inside. Shucky darn. I guess my plans of playing a pick up basketball game, or softball game, or going for a run are out the window and I’m just stuck sitting here on the couch napping and snacking and checking blogs and maybe watching a movie or two. Ho hum.
I wanted to let you know I’m throwing a sale over on TpT with a bunch of other bloggy friends. It’s for tomorrow only.
I have no idea how to announce that as if it isn’t a commercial.
But let’s just say that it’s a ONE DAY SALE (tomorrow) and leave it at that.
I’m also excited happy here to tell you that I will have my new Kindergarten Morning Work pack up tomorrow. I’m calling it The Beginning. Or the Prequel. Or Part 1. It’s the FIRST one. It’s for the BEGINNING of kindergarten. So it’s extremely kid-friendly. Or friendly to those kids who have no school experience ever and may have never held a pencil. You know – the ones who try to run away and say NO very loud and clear when you say it’s time to sit on the carpet. Either way, it’s friendly. Even if some of your kinder kiddos aren’t at first.
It's not a heat wave here but rainy–so I'm also stuck inside. So, I guess my run is out of the question, too. (okay…it was never even a consideration)

It's hot here but not heat wave hot so I don't know if I exactly have an excuse to stay in but that is what I am doing as well! Oh wait, my black labs get very hot in the sun so we are in 'cause they would miss me if I was outside without them. That works! 🙂

Well, I finally went to Target to get storage stuff for my classroom. I've been meaning to do that since….May. =) It's way hot here, too, but I decided that it won't get any cooler before the school year starts!

It is, fortunately, not too bad here at the coast. DVRing the Anna Nicole movie and watching some DODGERS BASEBALL. Still haven't opened up my summer work bag! Dreading it!
I hope it's a big sale because I've already spent almost all of my self-imposed allocated budget! It's hot and humid in Texas so get ready!

Hot in PA, and my swim club has a sink hole and is closed for the season. I haven't found a Plan B yet.
