Top Ten Award — NO WAY!!!!!

I have just gotten up off the floor.  I have just apologized to my husband for screaming so loud.  And I have just decided that I simply can NOT wipe this grin off my face.  My twin just texted to tell me that my blog was awarded a Top Ten Blog Award by Kimberly over at Funky First Grade Fun.

Kimberly is UH – MAZING.  I emailed her way before I started my own blog and asked her lots of tedious questions (you can only imagine , right?) and she answered ALL of them.  And then I would email her AGAIN and she would reply AGAIN.  I couldn’t shake her.  🙂  She was willing and able AND THEN . . . when I emailed her to tell her that I had finally launched my own blog, guess what she did?  Yep.  She “introduced” me to all of her friends.  And then I got a TON of traffic because she is really popular and people like her and follow her everywhere!  I have to say a huge, public, gigantic

I am supposed to award some other blogs but I am not supposed to award someone who has already been awarded.  Say what?  This is complicated!  I’m not sure who has or hasn’t been nominated and I stalk about 5, 326 blogs so I am not even sure how I will narrow this down!!!!!  But instantly, a couple of blogs came to mind . . . and I would return the favor to Kimberly but she has already been awarded (obviously!).

So here’s my first . . . 

Kelli is adorable and we have also done a lot of emailing.  I also won one of her giveaways!  She has great tips about the Daily 5 and her stuff is super duper cute!!!

Of course I have to award Farley, my BFF (blog friend forever).  She has adorable stuff and fun linky parties.  And she is funny!
I’m going to stop there and go blog stalking to see if some of my other faves have already been recognized or need to be . . . 
I am beyond thrilled to receive this – it is so exciting!!!!!  
By the way, the reason my twin texted to tell me is that she stalks my blog like no other!  She is LOYAL and reads every single comment that anyone ever leaves on any post.  And she has been known to get irate if someone leaves a comment that is not in tune with where we stand on Big Brother.  🙂  And although she is not a teacher, she reads my blog religiously and gets on me right away if I have not posted in more than two days.  She says my “readers” need to hear from me.  🙂  So I also need to say a really big, public, sincere THANK YOU TO KERRY!  No matter what, I will always have at least one follower.  
Okay . . . off to see if I can get this grin off my face.  It may be permanent . . .
