Happy Sunday!
I was a little lazy this week and missed the whole Five for Friday or Five for Fraturday. I was wondering if I could do a Five for Frunday, but for some reason, it just didn’t have the same ring. And I was really bad about taking pictures this week so I have nothing to show you. Womp womp.
We went to a Salsa party last night.
No. Not the dance kind. I don’t dance. Unless I’m sitting in a chair. Or I’m in the privacy of my own house. I have no rhythm. Sometimes I think I do, but then the hubby asks me if I’m having a seizure and should he call an ambulance.
The party was a Bring Your Own Salsa and they provided the chips, guacamole, mini burritos, taquitos, and churros.
Yes, this was the best party I have been to in a long, long, long time.
I took a couple of pictures for the hostess because she, too, is a blogger so once she posts them I’m going to send you over there so I can brag. I was using a fancy camera and everything.
Speaking of bragging, guess who finished her First Grade Morning Work Part 2 pack?
Yes. That would be me.

I’m just in time with this because we only have a few weeks left in this trimester. Apparently, I can enter grades on my report cards now.
The report card window opened on Friday, I believe, and when someone told me about it in a slight panic, I just laughed. Panic? Why? The window stays open for two whole weeks. I don’t have to think about report cards for thirteen whole days!
But then I remembered this means I will “run out” of morning work so I got busy.
The 2 of us had a little "business meeting" over a lil chips and salsa + an adult beverage just yesterday. The Salsa Party sounds fabulous!

Why is it the biggest thing I took away from your post was "Salsa" and "Jersey Mikes"? I think I may be hungry. Sadly, I still have students in my room. Gotta wait a little longer!!
Even though I've "graduated" to 2nd grade, I have a few little sweeties on a Kinder/1st level, and they are lost when we work on the 2nd grade morning work, so I'm thinking I'll spend a little $$ and get something closer to their level! 🙂 Thanks!!!
