Happy Saturday to you . . . although I have to warn you that from here on out, I will most likely not know what day it is due to the fact that I am on summer vacation.
And I am not trying to rub that in. It is just a fact.
And don’t get too mad at me, either, because I will be going into school about every day next week to clean and organize and figure out where everything is because when I am busy, I just shove things behind cupboard doors in a I’ll put it away later kind of way, and then I never do because I am always busy what with all of the teaching that I am doing.
And I can’t have piles of stuff just stacking up around my room, either. That would be ugly. And then people would know that I am not as organized as I make myself out to be.
So I just shove.
I’m also really good at that in my house, as well.
It is perfectly acceptable.

Not only is my classroom a mess but so are all my closets, desk drawers and even the workroom that's attached to my room. What were those room assigners thinking? Who gives someone like me a workroom to mess up? Love your post, as always. Happy summer to you!

That sand art can be done easily by rubbing colored chalk over small piles of regular table salt. The kids love doing this. (We sometimes do it for Mother's Day, or sometimes when studying the Native Americans that made sand paintings, and sometimes just because I want to.) Hope you try it!

Get it done fast, I want to use your crayon, bow, candy treat, cute tag idea. Ha! As if. I never figure out how teachers do stuff like that. I'm lucky if I can remember to say goodbye. ๐

I just love the little bit of the summer review packet that is shown here. Please finish and post it on tpt today or tomorrow. I so very much would rather use this one than the one that I am currently planning on copying and handing out this week!

This may be an unpopular comment but…..I don't really get all the graduations. Preschool, Kindergarten, 5th grade, 6th grade, 8th grade?! I just think it's a lot of hoopla and who is it really for?
