Oh, so sad today. Tho tho thad. It’s my last “official” day of spring break. Tomorrow and Sunday are actually considered the weekend, not spring break.
But I’ve had a great vacation even though I’ve pretty much done absolutely nothing since I got back from Sonoma. I’d rather NOT have plans. I’m kind of a homebody.
And being home works in my favor so that I can link up on time with Doodlebug’s Teaching Linky Party. For the THIRD WEEK IN A ROW, people! I should get an award of some kind. Or at least a prize.
1.
Yay yay yay! The Real Housewives of Orange County premiered on Monday. This just might be my favorite of the Housewives franchise, but I can’t really say that. It’d be like picking your favorite child. Just not possible. Anyways, my friend texted me earlier in the day and we had a countdown going. And then we were so bummed when it was over and that we have to wait a whole week for the next episode!! ๐
No, that is not pathetic. That is called Friendship-Bonding-For-Life-And-You-Should-Try-It.
2.
After running a ten minute errand, we came home to this. Murphie said, “Look! I made it snow!”
We will not talk about the fact that this was an expensive memory foam/egg crate/soft as a feather/luxurious/dog bed that I felt should come in a California King Mattress Size for my bed.
Or that I laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed when I should have possibly disciplined her . . . except I’m not quite sure how to do that . . . or if it was even warranted.
3.
Addicted. Completely addicted. My favorites are the Thin and Crispy ones with the Garlic Salsa. My mouth is watering as I type this because I made the mistake of only buying one of each, and I ate both in a two-day time period.
Really. That is not an exaggeration.
I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food (don’t kill me), but I love me some chips and salsa. And a margarita or two.
4.
Bleck. Homework folders. Math tests. Spelling tests. Work. On vacation. Bleck.
Now you know why I need the Housewives, chips and salsa, margaritas, and Murphie.
5.
I’ve been revamping one of the most popular centers in my class so that I can share it with you. I know I’m not alone in my fear of showing something “less than” or “not cute” on my blog. I mean, you might have to wash your eyes out with soap or something and that might sting.
But I’m super excited about this pack and I hope to have it ready by the end of the day.
Fingers crossed, anyway.
So there you go.
My week.
How was yours?

Wow 3 weeks in a row and being the 5th to link up! You are on a roll!
Murphie is the perfect dog for you! I am obsessed with all these hilarious stories about your life together! You really need your own reality show!
Chips and salsa is a huge weakness of mine! So delicious! Those thin and crispy ones I need right now! Oh my goodness! Yum!
Good luck correcting all that homework! I'd help you out if I could! I enjoy correcting work right now. That will probably change after I have a pile each night and I get sick of the sight of a homework folder next year.
Enjoy your "weekend". Savor every last moment with your bag of chips!

Oh if we were only neighbors…i'd come over in my pjs eat chips and salsa right after my coffee and watch a marathon of real housewives…soon we would be so tired we'd need to put our feet up with a nice glass of red and some chocolate! A girl can dream…..

It is my last day of spring break too, so I feel your pain. It looks like you had a great week off! I too enjoyed lots of chips and salsa. I also ate too many bags of mini eggs to count! Enjoy your weekend!

Homework folders are overrated. I abolished them several years ago and have not regretted it once!
And if I had to bring them home and work on them on spring break (excuse me, the weekend after spring break :-)) I would need more than a margarita or two!
Ms. Chrissy B says
(Chips + salsa) x margarita(s) = muy happy!

HA! I came home to that one day only it was my mattress! I have a nice foot rest hump now where I shoved it all back in

I think I must agree, Housewives of BH is probably my favorite. It's like a first born…may not be better but it happened first (or first to me anyway). I'm very curious to see Laurie this season. Seems she missed the spotlight. ๐

I am all about the chips and salsa. Add queso and game over! ๐ I have a mountain of papers to grade from before Spring Break, too. To toss them or grade them??? That is the questions! ๐

I am oh so very sad too. I got very much into summer mode with this break! We were in Napa (all the way from Maryland). Maybe our paths crossed! We had a blast, I'm kind of done with the school thing…

That is a great week! I love the little owls on your blog and is it my imagination or did some new owls move onto the blog? Cute!
