Yep. Two weeks in a row for this linky party. What what. Look what Spring Break can do for a girl.
So let’s see what I’ve been up to this week (besides gum graft surgery which I am not going to talk about).
This pic was taken in Santa Rosa shortly after the Sonoma University tour. My niece was supposed to get in this pic with my adorable mom and me, but she had decided she was bored to tears. I still don’t get it. Can’t you tell from this picture of me posing with a Peanuts character that I’m the life of the party and no one would ever want to go back to a hotel room to nap?

On Wednesday, the Ann Taylor loft by my school hosted a special sale for all of us. Can you say 60% off three times fast? I know!!! It was from 1:00 – 4:00 and they had a cute little table set up with a Welcome Sign, apple cider, sliced apples, and CHOCOLATE. It was fun to see all my friends there . . . but we had the most fun in the dressing room. “Let me see! Oh, you’re so cute! I wish I had your legs! If you were any skinnier, I’d hate you. Get that! Buy that! Buy two! That color is so you! I wish I was taller.” Girls.
We decided it won’t matter when ten of us show up at school wearing the same outfit.
I ended up with two dresses, three tops, and a pair of pants. I also had a gift card (thank you, mom!) so I only spent a little bit of money.
I will have to pay to have the pants hemmed . . . unless I want to roll them up nineteen times.
Spring Break means I have time to soak in my big ole tub. I received that beautiful bubble bath bottle (is it just me or does it look like a wine bottle?) from a parent last year. I couldn’t throw it away. So now I just fill it up with Mr. Bubbles and nobody’s the wiser. You know — because I have people in my bathroom all the time and I want to appear fancy.

Spring Break means I’ve been able to read again. My friend, Sheri, recommended this book. It’s heart wrenching. I cried. Did you know it’s really hard to read and cry at the same time? It is.
Even though I cried, I highly recommend it.
We got new grass. And it will look like this forever because it’s fake. Artificial, if you will. Murphie loves loves loves it and is no longer eating grass. This probably means we will have to buy more dog food to make up for the loss of vegetables in her diet. I’m a little sad because I can no longer tell her to go outside and get a snack. Bummer.
We took her to doggy daycare, too, and they called us about an hour into it and said she is fabulous. We said tell us something we don’t know.
๐
I miss her, though, and can’t wait to go get her!!!!! I’m a nut.
Shoulder shrug. At least you don’t have to live with me.

I totally thought the bottle of bubble bath was wine! Just a reminder to grab a glass of wine for the bubble bath!

My co-teacher and I only shop at The Loft. We end up in matching outfits more often than not! And one of my parents got me fancy bubble bath for Christmas this year. It's wayyy better than the Mr. Bubbles that I use! I'm sad that it's almost gone ๐

I LOVEEEEE the Loft! Such a great place to shop for teachers. Of course you need your bathroom to look top notch fancy. You never know what to expect from visiting guests!

OMG the wine bottle looking bubble bath is so cute!! and what a good idea to just refill it. I can't use bubbles in my tub (I think it ruins the jets or something) and it makes me sad! I am looking that book up right now…not that I have time to read but in just a month or so when testing is over and I can breathe, I will be reading some of the 100+ books I own (yes it is a bad addiction).

Looks like you are having a great spring break. Mine is just starting. And to show you how old and uncool we may be…at my school I can walk in to the work room and say, "Did you get that at Christopher and Banks?" to everyone in the room. Yup…done that. Worn the same thing as a couple of my friends (only once on the same day).

I finished The Light Between Oceans during Christmas break. I bawled big boo-hoo tears. And I am not a pretty crier.
Glad I'm not alone in the boo-hoo business.
