Oh My Thor. I am really tired of getting ready for school. Which is starting on Wednesday for those of you who didn’t know.
WEDNESDAY. As in, the day after tomorrow.
There is just too much to do. And when I tell myself that I don’t have to make that sign or fix that thing or get it all done before the first day, I am quite rude and impolite to myself because I just ignore all that advice and stay super late doing everything I can to make sure it’s all ready for the first day of school anyway.
I am having a bit of a chair issue. A Teacher Chair Issue. Because I have a beautiful dark wood director’s chair with a tan seat and back . . . but I’ve decided I’m done with dark wood and that I need white. So now I have white bookshelves and the hubby painted my easel white and he said he could paint my director’s chair. But then there was a paint stripper problem (not to be confused with Melissa Gorga, for those of you who watch the Jersey Housewives) and a time problem and a really don’t feel like doing it, the Dodgers are on problem.
So I ordered a white director’s chair.
Except it won’t be here in time for the first day of school. This makes me sad even though it is seriously not a problem. It’s not. I know this.
I get it.
But I can’t help my brain. It has a mind of its own.
It’s okay, though, because I’m looking forward to Part 2 of the Most Dramatic Season Finale Ever of the Bachelorette. Aren’t you? I’m totally expecting to see Brooks and I’m not happy about it!

Sigh…I can't believe we're going back to school already! It's kinda weird you start on a Wednesday. We start back next week! I know your feeling of summer slipping through your hands and back to school taking over everything!

I finally get to watch the Bachelorette on my computer today…right now actually! Oh my goodness, I hope I DON'T see Brooks! But I have a feeling he is coming back…and I totally get the chair thing. I just moved to Florida from VA and I had to leave my beautiful teaching chair because it wouldn't fit in the moving load..seriously so sad, I know. So now I have to order one.

Our brains get a little crazy in the days before the Little Learners descend. I say throw a lovely piece of fabric tastefully over your old chair to compliment the new white things…it might make you feel better.
