Boys and girls, it rained today. Enough said.
Okay, listen up, people! Today is THE LAST day of Farley’s 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway Extravaganza! Today is the day that you could win EVERY SINGLE PRIZE from ALL of the days!! I am actually a tad bit bummed that I can’t enter. π But don’t feel sorry for me because the housewives from the B.H. are on tonight AND the hubs is making me grilled cheese and soup because of the rain. AND I left school early and I never do that. I don’t mean early, as in, before the kids, but I left about 40 minutes after they did and that is a personal record!!
Also, don’t feel sorry for me because I also went grocery shopping for guests! My twin and my her kids get here this Friday!! So I got to buy chocolate milk and frozen waffles and cookies and straws and other things that I usually buy, but this time they are for actual children instead of a picky, finicky adult that still eats like a child (or so my family tells me. And I am starting to like Mexican food so just back off!).
I seriously got off topic there.
By the way, my giveaway over there on Day 2 finally had over 199 people entered. Whew. The last time I looked, it was 207. That’s better. I just did NOT like hovering over there at 199.
And for that matter, there is a blog that I covet admire that shall remain nameless because this is really a stupid (“Teacher! She said stupid! She said stupid!”) thing of mine but I am about 20 something followers behind her and it bothers me. Why does it bother me? I can’t say. I just can’t. You guys would think I’m even crazier than you probably already think I am. I am always checking. WHY?! What is wrong with me? It’s really dumb (“Teacher! She said dumb! She said dumb!”). I am actually driving myself crazy with it but that’s normal for me. I’d say I drive myself crazy most of the time.
Speaking of driving, let’s continue on the scenic route of my off topic brain road right now.
Today was Monday which is the day that the Curriculum Cops tend to come in to first grade. But . . . it was raining and remember, I am in an outside school. And my principal wears dresses and heels EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. So . . . inclement weather schedule meant inclement inspection day, too! So we made reindeer cards! With glue and construction paper and glitter!!!!!!!!!!!! π
All right. Let’s get back on the right road. Recalculating.
You need to go over to Farley’s blog and enter! It doesn’t matter if you already entered on a different day. This is a whole new kit and caboodle. You should go there In Oh Double You — NOW!!!

You are so funny! I am a picky eater too who has passed my habits onto my 3 nieces…and my family is not very happy I have done that. I tried to tell them that it is not my fault they love their She-She (their name for me) so much!
I have serious follower envy of you and ALL of the blogs I stalk!
I don't think my principal owns a pair of heels…she wears tennis shoes almost EVERYDAY!
I hope you got the "new" Snowy Contractions I sent you! =)

Hi Kristin:
Grilled cheese and soup. We could dine together! However, I would need to eat that combo sequentially. Like ice cream after cake…
I just think that you are a big gift–in a teeny tiny package–to all of us!

Still in love with your blog! What I needed after being told today that no one is allowed to touch a child…even if they are leveling a room! CRAZY!??!?!

Kristin,
Just want you to know that if you ever feel the need to break the cardinal rule of only blogging once a day, it is alright with me. I will joyfully read as many posts as you can write in one day!
Lots of love to you (Bloggy love),

I'm with Camille – since you already are into breaking rules {reindeer project – don't think I couldn't read that little writing} you may as well go with it and break some rules here too…post many times a day. We'll all read it!!!!
And I'm with you on followers…all I want for Christmas is my 200 followers, my 200 followers, my 200 folloooowwwwers!

Oh my! Grilled Cheese and frozen waffles are staples in my diet!! Recently discovered some sweet potato frozen waffles, thought they were going to be disgusting but they are officially my favorite! π
I love your use of the word recalculating. Made me crack up because it led to thoughts of my GPS,her nasal voice, and how mad I get at her every time she says that over and over when I make a Starbucks run on a trip. π

You seriously make me laugh with every post. It has ALWAYS been my motto that laughter cures all and is the fuel of life. The last thing my grandfather said to me before he passed was, "Never forget to laugh." Aw, it's so important. You've grabbed my heart!
I, like the zillion others who adore you, awarded you the Sunshine Award over on my blog.
I've made it quite clear that the curriculum police are free to plan, prep and teach in my class for a few days ANYTIME… just so they can have a clear understanding of how a real classroom works. π Haha… they REALLY don't get it.
