Happy Sunday!
I am officially back into “real life”.
I went to school on Friday at 7am. Yes. This is what I do the day after I get back from vacation.
Truthfully, I sort of had to because it was the last day that we were allowed in until who knows? The day before school starts? I don’t know. They took my keys. Waaaaa.
So I went in with my partner and we helped each other hang new butcher paper. And then, since we were already there, we decided we might as well work on the bulletin boards and get those finished. After wine tasting and floating in a river for a week, it was a lot of work and I had to lay down a few times. How did I ever teach all.day.long?
When I was getting out my letters for each bulletin board title, I thought, hey! Maybe you might want to know how I organize my letters.
I mean, hey! Maybe someone out there is as anal and organized and crazy as me and thinks going back to school the day after vacation at the crack of dawn is fun, too! Not everyone can live their life like this, but I sure can.
I'm laughing because I was back at school the day after Memorial Day (even though all other teachers were home enjoying the first day of break) just to, I don't know, hang out in my room and look busy I guess? I still had some packing up to do, but I've been in several times since to get things I needed and just "check in" with my room. I c.a.n.n.o.t. imagine having my keys taken from me…I would DIE! Sitting on my deck sipping wine ( yes, my report cards are due, 14 days left…so I need wine) thinking only Teeny can make letter storage funny…..
I think the dividers are cute! They're manila, so they are a neutral that goes with anything and I like the font. I'm joking of course…not that I thought they weren't pretty!! Please link this up with our organization party if you would like 'cause you've got it covered girl! What a great way to make things easier.

These are the things that make me happy! I still have letters that are unpunched because I throw them all together in the same bin!!!! This is my new summer project, organizing my letters. Let's see who can come up with the cutest way to store them, hmmm…..

It's nice to know that others go to school after school is officially over. I've been trying to purge but I'm tired of it and need to take a break so I'm going to Vegas. Then I have to come back and finish because I have to give up my keys by Friday.
OMG this is WAY better than my method,.. each letter in a ziploc bag and then all the bags in abc order in a plastic shoe box. I am pinning this on my summer to make board because I need to do this. Way better and so much easier than slippery baggies!

Third Grade Tidbits
I keep my letters in an old cd/DVD holder book thing. Lol I saw the idea on Pinterest last year. I love it because I don't have lots of storage space so everything is very compact.
I like it. I had to turn in my keys on Friday. I took all week to organize and not shove this year. Last year we were able to keep our keys this year, no. So maybe next year yes.
