Sometimes . . . January is a hard month.
I saw something on Instagram that said something like:
It’s January.
I’m broke.
I’m cold.
I’m as pale as a ghost.
I don’t like January.
It cracked me right up. Because it’s pretty much true when you think about it. I try to be positive most of the time so I see January as new beginnings and let’s start over and wow, we’ve got the whole year ahead of us, but sometimes, sometimes, January can get long.
And I am pale. And don’t even get me started on my toenails that have not seen the light of day, a nail salon, or nail polish in I don’t know how long.
All of this is to say that as much as I like talking about snowmen and penguins and hot chocolate . . . sometimes, I am just over it.
And that’s when I bring out my Any Time plays. I recently added the following sets to my Growing Bundle of Plays with Three Characters. They can be used ANY TIME. So if you’re sick of sledding and sneezing, or snow and boots . . . these are just for you!
Here’s a sample from the Kinder Kids pack:
You will not believe how this one ends!

Again, the ending will surprise you!

And lastly, here is an Advanced Reader’s sample:
I couldn’t help it. I had to show you the ending to this one because I love the cheer. I bet you think I was a cheerleader in school.
Well, I wasn’t. I was in Pep Club, which is close enough if you ask me. We supported the cheerleaders.
You can check out the Growing Bundle {HERE}.
Here’s to the rest of January!!! ๐

Hi Kristin– I just purchased the anytime, winter and spring bundle for my kinders and am excited to get it going! Like most teachers I have multiple levels in my class (from kids who know a few sight words to kids reading like end-of-year first graders+) and love how this will work for all of them. Do you separate the play levels or mix them all together? How many plays do you put out at one time? I don't want my struggling kinders to be overwhelmed when they look through the advanced plays. Thanks!
