I am so out of whack.
That’s not to be confused with my Whackadoodle status. That is still going strong.
But this summer has totally screwed up my sleeping routine. And my exercise routine (I am kind of laughing at the word exercise because, by that I mean walking on the treadmill while watching a trashy TV show) and my eating routine.
Generally, every summer I mess up the whole eating right and exercising daily thing because I am traveling and people are visiting and I am just too busy to be bothered with the whole maintaining a healthy life style thing that I pretend I do during the school year.
But I have always been able to sleep. I love sleep. I have told you countless times that sleep is one of my all time favorite things to do. But I am not sleeping for more than five or six hours a night and those five or six hours are broken up sleep, too.
I’m telling you, between the no soda or sweetened tea for seven weeks and the no sleeping, I do not recognize myself.
I’m not sure you would, either, except for the orange stains on my fingers from the Cheetoh Puffs.
But . . . the not sleeping has given me more hours in the day and I am happy to announce that I have finished a new Reader’s Theater pack!
I am so excited to print it and get it ready for my new first graders. It is not “themed” so to speak. It is a bunch of randomness. For example, there is a play about cookies and there is also a play about pets. It can be used ANY TIME OF THE YEAR!
I am thinking the randomness has something to do with the lack of sleep I am experiencing . . .
I have a FREEBIE for you from the new pack!
It’s a play!
To find out what happens to the monkeys and to get your own copy, just go to my Facebook page and grab it. It will only be up for today and tomorrow so get it while you can. While you’re there, you can hop to some of my bloggy friends Facebook pages, as well, and grab a bunch of other freebies, too!
And, if you would like to win the WHOLE PACK, leave a comment with your email address and I’ll pick 3 winners tomorrow! 🙂
You're just too cute…orange fingers and all! It's amazing the vampire like life-style I take on every summer. I always say I WILL go to be at a reasonable time and I WILL wake up at a decent time…and putting on an outfit instead of staying in sweats WILL NOT be an option…..but….well……there's always next year!
