And I have school tomorrow.
I do not understand how this happened. How can time go by so fast when you’re basically doing absolutely nothing?
Well, truth be told, I did a little something yesterday. I actually got dressed and put on some makeup. I know! Hurry! Check the sky — are pigs flying?
I took the hubby to go see Catching Fire. I loved it just as much the second time and chose a different scene to go to the bathroom than I did the first go around. So now I really have seen the whole movie in its entirety.
And it is good.
Today I am trying to do absolutely nothing until I go help work the welcome table at the 5pm service at church. I think working at 5pm will help me get “in the spirit” of returning to work this week. I always shout, “Have a great week!” as people are leaving (okay, so I’m the Welcome as well as the See Ya Later person) and I tend to be . . . well, I might be a tad . . . well, I am just as merry and bright as I can be, people.
And you know what they say . . . if you say it or do it, then you’ll start to feel it.
Do they say that?
They say something like that, right?
Well, whatever, I’m pretending I’m excited to go back to school.
I love my job. I love this class in particular. I love my new principal. I love my team. I love the holidays at school and I will play the Charlie Brown Christmas playlist on my iPod as soon as I step in my room early tomorrow.
But I will long for my pajamas and leisurely cup of coffee.
I will loooooonnnnnggggg for them.
So anyways, you might have heard that’s there a TpT Cyber Monday and Tuesday sale going on.
Have you heard?
Surely you’ve heard.

So sad 🙁 I don't want to go to back, however, I am beyond excited to do Christmas activities out the wazoo for the next 12 (yes only 12) days with my kiddos!!

Kristen, I feel your pain….but honestly you would not want to feel my pain. I'm staying home in my pjs tomorrow….but it's because I've had the flu and now strep and an ear infection. It was not a fun weekend for me. There is no tree up,nor any Christmas decorations….I just didn't have the energy. So while you are enjoying your day tomorrow, I will be on the couch, trying to swallow and get better for school on Tuesday. See ya LATER!

I too am in a melancholy mood about going back tomorrow, but just keep reminding myself that I only have 15 school days left until a glorious 14-day Christmas break!
Your blog made me smile tonight!

I was so sad last night, but today wasn't all that bad.
Actually, it wasn't all that great, but I still had fun somehow.
Ah…to "be one with the couch." Cheers to that! KinderCoaster
