The first day of Fall happened. Again, I know you are not supposed to capitalize Fall, but I love it so much that I just do not care to follow any rules right now. And seeing as how this is my blog, well then . . . i can do what i want when i want because i said so.
It sort of felt like fall this weekend. It started on Friday and I actually had to wear a sweatshirt. And then on Saturday, I wore a long sleeve t-shirt. And then yesterday, I had to wear a zip up hoodie.
Yes. This is my wardrobe and I am not a teenage girl. I am old and I have no fashion sense.
Today the heat came back. For Pete’s sake, I said. I had this great Fall art project planned and it felt like the middle of summer.
Remember these from last year? Well, I guess it just so happened to be 106 degrees when we made them last year, too, so apparently, it’s becoming a tradition to paint Fall trees in Desert-Like Conditions.
I also realized I had to take down a bulletin board in order to have space for the new art pieces.
And I decided it was high time to get rid of Mother Bear. Finally.
And as I ripped off plucked pulled carefully removed each student’s bear with a proper staple remover tool, I thought to myself, I will never be able to use this cute DJ Inkers Bear ever again.
Ever.
And then I had an idea!

Couldn't you make it look like Mother Bear is standing up? I hate for you to not use such a cute bear just because she had momentary lapse of modesty… LOL

I think you should keep mother bear up somewhere as a memento of the first day pictures that never were! (But no spread eagle– or just make a cute little skirt for mother bear out of some chevron fabric) bahaha! ๐
