I love to use these picture cards in all sorts of ways. I created these cards for my own students who need extra support with beginning, middle, and ending sounds. My language learners and struggling students often need a picture clue to help them distinguish between the sounds. These cards have really been helping lately and I hope they can help your class, too!

*The ending sounds has a bonus challenge set in which the two pictures shown begin and end with the same letter. For example, if the ending sound shown is B, it will have a picture of a bear and a crab. Students truly have to distinguish the beginning sound from the ending sound.
