Math Fluency Assessments

Description

This Math Fluency Assessment Program is Common Core Aligned and is designed so that students are working at their own pace in fluency of addition and subtraction facts to 20. There are 26 levels which have been broken down into small, sequential increments. Instead of the traditional timed or “mad minute” tests given in class, these assessments will be sent home. Once students are ready to be tested on a specific level, the parent will sign the form, and it is returned to class. A teacher, parent volunteer, or older student helper can meet with the student one-on-one to go through the equations at that level to see if fluency has been mastered.

This program is created in such a way that students master fluency in addition and subtraction facts to 20.

Included in the program are flashcards that correspond with each level so that students will have a visual cue when being tested, a set of answer keys, student grids, a note to parents, certificates upon completion, and a picture of organizational tips.
