Show and Tell {a Speaking and Listening Program}

Description

Speaking and Listening is so important in the primary grades! Most of the time, these skills get pushed to the side, but Show and Tell {with a purpose!} provides the perfect way for students to master the Common Core State Standards in these two areas. Students choose an item (based on a weekly topic) from home, and practice speaking about their object beforehand (topic sentence, three key ideas, and a conclusion). It is purposeful, meaningful, and engaging! I have used this program for over 15 years and have watched my students soar! Parents support this wholeheartedly and wish that they had it when they were students! I am a 21 year veteran teacher STILL in the classroom, and I use this resource every single day!

Editable files are included, but you do not need to edit anything to begin! You can start this program AT ANY TIME because three options are available: a 12 week program (perfect for the end of the year in Kindergarten), a 20 week program, or a 30 week program.
