These Listen and Learn Activities are 15-16 minutes each of GUIDED INSTRUCTION by ME! 🙂 Students listen, color, and write based on skills that I teach! Simply copy the printable you want your students to work on and choose one of the following formats:

• Download the MP3 files DIRECTLY onto your device or computer (no Wi/Fi necessary).
• Use the PowerPoint Slides with Audio on anything that has Microsoft PowerPoint installed.

During each listening activity, students will:

Follow Directions

Segment words with beginning blends

Blend words

Identify words that have the same beginning blend as another

Distinguish between beginning blends

Focus on phonemic awareness

Circle the beginning blend in words

Write beginning blends to match a picture

Write beginning blends

Each activity is approximately 15-17 minutes long! Use it during centers, word work, guided reading, etc because I will essentially be teaching a small group while you work with other students.
